There are many ministries in a church and all are parts of the body. There is possibly more than one person in each ministry in the church body. They give of themselves, and expect little in return. They give the best of themselves to others, and not to themselves. They seek no gain for themselves. They are not paid, but may receive offerings. They have the gifts of the Holy Spirit. They praise God by honoring and respecting Him, by bowing and revering Him, and by doing His will. They are not concerned about their needs.
Pastor: Works to keep the believers in the flock, and ministers to their spiritual needs. They look for that wanderer away. They find the needs of the believers and minister to them. They live a Godly life, and are an example to others. Their families, also, are godly believers. They do not worry of themselves. They do not fleece the flock, but give and give. They do not use force or cruelty. They hear from the Lord. They worship God by avoiding the world. They have the backing of their wife and children. A pastor is "raised" up, not appointed, elected, or called. There is not just a "pastor" in a church - there are many ministries, and possibly more than one pastor.
Preacher: A preacher, very simply, preaches. He might be a pastor, and might not be. They preach the "Good News" to the lost and encourage those who are saved. Some are called to do this full-time, while all of us are called to preach the "Good News".
Teacher: A teacher is called to teach the born-again believers of Jesus the whole truth. God gives them spiritual insights into His Word and they are filled with His knowledge and spiritual truths. They are able to discern Truth from falsehood.
Prophet: A prophet is given a word from God to His people or to unbelievers. He needs to be obedient to God, and speak forth the Word. If he is a true prophet, what he has said will happen. What he says will never contradict God's Word.
Evangelist: An evangelist has a specific burden to preach to the lost. They discern those who are not saved and use God's Word, testimony, and knowledge to convince the lost of their condition before God.
Healer: A healer is one that has the gift of being blessed by God to heal others in the name of Jesus, for the glory of God. They are humble servants and recognize themselves as having no power other than what God gives them, for a season.
Apostle: An apostle is one that is called to be an emissary of God. They are called to go forth and do new things for God. They also set up and oversee churches.
There are other ministries in the Word. The above are the ones most often noted.
