1. Invite other believers to your home. It does not have to be on Sunday, but that probably is the day most people do not work
2. Share food together. You can furnish the food or ask everyone to bring something. It does not take a banquet, just food all can eat together.
3. Have the time centered on the Word of God. Read, study, and ask questions of each other. If someone is a teacher, they might be able to add something at certain times. Do not allow lecture style study - be interactive. Rely on the Holy Spirit as your guide.
4. Share a time of communion. Communion means talking to God and to each other. It is sharing Bread and Wine together, to remember what Jesus did for us. The example of how to do this is in the Word of God. Jesus, the Word made flesh, wants to commune with us.
5. Let God lead you. All of the things a church should do are NOT listed in this Guide to Home Churching.
